Guide to the Traditions and Schools of the Man·Dōjō

In the Dōjō, we draw from different streams of philosophy, psychology, and spirituality.
These traditions offer maps and practices that help us expand consciousness beyond the personal and the everyday.

Before beginning the program, I invite you to become familiar with these foundational principles.

Eckhart Tolle

Tolle teaches the power of presence — to live fully in the now, beyond the mind and the ego.
His vision invites us to cultivate inner stillness, observe our thoughts without identifying with them, and awaken to a more conscious and authentic life.

Shamanism

Shamanism is one of the oldest spiritual traditions in the world.
Through ritual, chanting, and expanded states of consciousness, it connects with the spirits of nature and seeks healing for both the individual and the community.

Rudolf Steiner and the Rosicrucian Tradition

Steiner developed Anthroposophy, a path that unites science, art, and spirituality.
The Rosicrucian tradition, in turn, transmits esoteric teachings about the evolution of the soul and the purpose of human life.

Together, they offer a framework for inner development and connection with higher spiritual dimensions.

Georges Ivanovich Gurdjieff

Founder of the Fourth Way, Gurdjieff proposed that most human beings live mechanically.
His method integrates body, emotion, and mind to awaken consciousness and reach a state of greater freedom and authenticity.

Embodied Masculine

A living lineage woven through decades of practice, transmission, and service, one that honors the body as a sacred instrument, the Earth as a temple, and Presence as the guiding intelligence.

This path is deeply inspired and nourished by the work of Amir Khalighi, founder of Embodied Masculine™.

Amir’s work emerges at the confluence of the ancient and the modern, bridging initiation, embodiment, and transpersonal methodology. Rooted in over 25 years of martial practice and direct teachings from warrior lineages and Hapkido masters, his path also draws deeply from Tantra, Vajrayana, Shamanism, Shunya, and Deity Yoga.

Through Embodied Masculine™, Amir offers a body of work that awakens the integrated masculine, one anchored in Presence, guided by the Heart, and in service to Life itself.
